Today marks two years since the tragic death of Mahsa Amini, a young woman whose life was taken by the oppressive regime for something as simple as showing her hair. On this day, thousands of Iranians stood up and flooded the streets, demanding justice. Many paid with their lives, their freedom, or their sight—wounded, imprisoned, executed, and killed. What began with the cry of "Woman, Life, Freedom" ignited a powerful movement that reshaped the course of Iran’s history. For us Iranians, this day is a painful reminder of the loss and grief we carry for those taken from us, and the unrelenting anger we feel toward a regime that continues to crush our most basic right: the right to live freely.
